REGULAR BOARD MEETING (5:00 PM): The Linn-Mar Board of Directors will host their regular meeting on Monday, March 30th at 5:00 PM in the boardroom of the Educational Leadership Center (3556 Winslow Rd, Marion).
EXEMPT SESSION (If time allows following the regular meeting): The LMCSD Board of Directors will enter into exempt session immediately following the regular meeting (if time allows) as provided for in Chapter 20.17(3) of the Code of Iowa and Policy 204.5, “for negotiating sessions, strategy meetings of public employers or employee organizations, mediations, and the deliberative process of arbitration;” and shall be exempt from the provisions of Chapter 21. The exempt session will be closed to the public.
SPECIAL SESSION-PUBLIC HEARING (6:30 PM): There will also be a special session beginning at 6:30 PM for the board to host a public hearing on the Linn County property tax notices. The public hearing will not be livestreamed.
