Linn-Mar’s Homecoming Week is from September 15 to September 20. This year’s theme is “Own the Moment”. Below you will find the list of scheduled events for Homecoming Week.

Schedule of Events:

Parade
Date: Wednesday, September 17th
Time: 5:15 p.m.
Route: The parade will begin at the North Parking Lot of the high school, proceed north on 10th Street, turn onto Barrington Parkway, continue onto 3rd Street, turn onto 29th Avenue, turn back onto 10th Street, and return to the North Parking Lot. A map of the parade route is below.

Powder Puff Game
Date: Thursday, September 18th
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Linn-Mar Stadium
Matchup: Juniors vs. Seniors

Pep Rally
Date: Friday, September 19th
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Location: High School Main Gym
Note: This will also feature performances from the Linn-Mar Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Poms, along with competitions among classes, clubs, and sports teams.

Football Game
Date: Friday, September 19th
Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9th Grade Football / 7:15 p.m. – Varsity Football
Location: Linn-Mar Stadium
Matchup: Linn-Mar Lions vs. Cedar Rapids Kennedy Cougars
Tickets: $10 admission (tickets can be purchased through the Bound app)
Note: This will also feature performances from the Linn-Mar Marching Lions and Poms

Homecoming Dance
Date: Saturday, September 20th
Time: 8:00-10:30 p.m.
Location: High School Main Gym
Cost: $9 per person (tickets are available for sale on Sept. 15th and can be purchased through the Bound app or with card on the day of the dance at the door. Students wanting to pay cash can purchase tickets in person during regular hours at the Cashier’s Office in the high school from 9/15 – 9/19)
Note: The LMHS Homecoming Dance is for LMHS students only; no guests are allowed. Attendees must bring their Linn-Mar student ID.
