The board supports the use of innovative methods and the use of technology in the delivery of the education program. The board encourages employees to investigate efficient and effective ways to utilize technological advances as a part of the curriculum and instruction practices.
It is the responsibility of the superintendent, or designee, to develop guidelines to monitor the use of technology. Any objections to materials used as a result of instructional technology will be processed under board policies 602.27, 602.27-R, 602.28, 602.29, 602.29-R, and 602.29-E.
It is the responsibility of the superintendent, or designee, to develop a plan for the use of technology in the curriculum and to evaluate it annually. The superintendent, or designee, will report the results of this evaluation and make a recommendation to the board annually regarding the use of technology in the curriculum.
